How Does It Work?

On average, I bring on 1 client a week who is ready to hire an assistant. I then pair them with awesome people like you. Most of my clients are Essential Oil Leaders and they come to me because I help train their assistants on the exact things they need help with. So, you and I would get to work closely together for the first bit. Oh and there's no cost to you! I've helped 70+ people get hired in 2020-2021 alone.




What is the Pay?


Here's a very basic idea of what you can expect as a starting rate.  Generally this is a 1099 position (if you are in the US).  Note: These are all US dollars and these figures are just estimates. Your actual pay will be worked out with you and your client.

General Assistant

$14-18/hr

What is the process?

Fill out an application here on this site. You will be asked to provide links to your resume, work examples, and a video resume (details are on the application page). Work examples are highly recommended since they set you apart.

Screening Interview

You will interview with my assistant to see if this program is the right fit for you. All your questions will be answered by someone who has gone through the program too.

Strengths Test

If we think you could be a good fit, we will ask you to take the Gallup Strengths Test for $21.44 US dollars. We pay for your background check and you pay for this. My clients have taken this test and love to see their assistant's results too.

Training

You will go through an online course that takes about 15-20 hours to complete.  It is self guided so you can go at your own pace. It includes video, audio, text, quizzes, and more. The first part teaches you all about the company and products. The second part dives more into the tools and specific tasks you may be doing. The last part is full of done-for-you material that makes it easier for you to jump into your role as an assistant.

Post Training Review

After you've completed the training, you will get to have a review of everything you've learned. This is not a test! It is designed to refresh your memory on the most important parts of the program so you know what things to look into more (if any). This helps you prepare for your interviews as well. Knowing the training content helps show my clients that you are competent and ready to support them

Interviews

You could start having interviews shortly after you apply, but typically, they happen after you've completed the training. On average, most people who get hired get placed within 1-3 months. It's not uncommon to interview with several people before getting hired. However, there is not promise of employment since it's my clients who ultimately decide who they want to work with. This program does, however, increase the chances quite a bit.

Getting Started Call

If you get hired, then the 3 of us will get on a call together to help you get set up effectively. We will talk about schedules, organization, pay periods, communication, password mananagement, taxes (consult with your accountant), and more. We will get all your questions answered and I will share resources that make it easy for you to just rock it together (including a project management template). 

Assistant Calls

Every Monday night at 6:30 PM Mountain Time, I lead a group coaching call with all of the assistants in my program. You will get to hear how dozens of other people support their clients and you will get further training and support from me. These calls are required for 3 months after getting hired (you can join live or watch the recordings). This is a huge perk! You get connected with other people in your same shoes so you can learn from and grow together.

1-1 Training

Once hired, I meet with you to go more depth upon the things you learned in the training. The topics of our training are based on the things your client needs help with the most. My goal is to help you feel totally confident in those things right away. For at least 3 months, you have access to my team and I for support as you get more comfortable with your role. We LOVE questions so don't be afraid to ask!
